    Hey Everyone,

I’m curious…I’ll be working with a friend who is working on a final cut and I think he’ll be finishing in HD.

I’ve only rendered in SD for AVID, so I’m trying to figure out what I need to know to render for Final Cut. Does Final Cut use different codecs like AVID? Will I need to install Final Cut codecs to render to? Are they compatible with my PC?

What questions do I need to ask the editor to find out what specs he’s working on the project in?

    Thanks in advance.

First off I would ask him what codec he’s working in and just render out to that.
    Otherwise animation is fine.
