What is the best codec to use to get full screen animations to go to AVID clean? The animations look great coming out of the Mac, but when they get to AVID, they look crunchy (especially the type). I’m using avid meridian right now and have also tried to render with other codecs and using “animation” and “none”. I have tried lower field and no field rendering with the same results. I’m going crazy and need some help! Thank you in advance!

Use Quicktime’s Animation or the Meridien codecs, 1:1 or 2:1.
Your alpha channel should be rendered out of AE as straight, not premultiplied, by the way.
