Rendering End Credits (Maybe a way to do it with rendering for hours?)
Hi everyone,
I’ve been changing over to motion to do our end credits and still have a couple issues. First of all if I do more than 2 pages of credits, Motion slows to a crawl. I understand that it’s rendering all that text but is there any way around this?
I do so much love using behaviors rather than keyframes for this stuff I format the text exactly how I want without going crazy with keyframes. HOWEVER, my render times are horrendous and I have to wait anywhere up to even 60 seconds for each minute little change to appear.
So far I’ve been splitting up my endcredits into many projects (even though it gets quite annoying) and working with only one layer, etc, etc. Anyone else with some ideas? Maybe motion really isn’t for designing long form end credits, but with it’s formating and treating the endcredits like a motion graphic, it’s much easier and fun to do it in motion than anything else if it wasn’t for the suggishness and hours of renders…
Thanks,
Joseph Mastantuono
PS: It seems to me that it’s not only rendering every single letter in my project, but doing it twice for the little useless screen in the top left corner.
