Rendering Dynamically linked AE Comps in Premiere Timeline
For a few months now, I have tolerated a problem I haven’t experienced the past. Many of the projects I work on require 5-15 AE Comps in my Premiere timeline. Each composition consists of very simple animations.
As of late, Premiere can hardly render them, with renders taking 10 minutes or more for a 15 second comp of a dotted line with a trim animation. When I attempt to render the dynamically linked comp in premiere, it will often stick on 0.1% for 1-5 minutes. If it does finally start rendering, it can take anywhere from 5-15 minutes.
Are there any settings in Premiere or After Effects that could be causing this? Is this normal behavior? Or should I be expecting much quicker render times for such a simple animation; even if it is dynamically linked.
