    What’s up Cows,

I’m always batch rendering spots at work (commercial tagging / distro) and when I’ve got a nice lineup that starts to output, I notice that my streaming music gets heavily distorted. I thought it was weird, but then noticed some codecs did it worse than others (UNCOM QT hardly affected… H264 makes it sound like I’m Neo being sucked into the Matrix the first time). Note than I’m referring just to streaming (usually YT) music playback; nothing is wrong in the rendered files themselves. I’m on a high-end MacPro and we use a BlackMagic Ultrastudio 4k video card / deck / breakout box, wired to a full surround set-up in the bay here.

Wondering if anyone else has found a workaround or fix! Tips appreciated.
