    I’m completely baffled…

The video source on my timeline are 3 frame sizes cropped equally to display a left middle and right section, when I render the green out for an actualized playback the right section of video disappears, but when it’s un-rendered its play is visible.

What is causing this to happen?
    frame rate – 2997
    resolution – 1280×1080
    audio – ST

    That’s a weird one…

first thing that pops into my mind is maybe a corrupted render (sequence or project).

Depending on your deadline, length of project, I would suggest deleting all your render files (use either render manager, or manually navigate to your proper render folder for that project and delete everything.

then, you will obviously need to re-render everything. See that works. If not, do the basic troubleshooting tips…repair permissions, trash fcp preferences. open new project and copy/paste all items into it, same concept for the sequence. create new, then copy/paste into it.

That is an obvious snafu, as if you can see it, (in a still) unrendered, then once rendered you should see it too (playing in real time).

    hope this helps
