  Rendering disabled bug…..

  So I’m getting this bug that’s driving me insane!!!! When I scrub through footage in the viewer window, I keep getting the black screen with red border telling me that my caps lock is on and rendering is disabled. IT’S NOT!!! If I click off the screen and back on, the video appears and all is good until I try to scrub again. What’s going on here?!!!! I thought that maybe the project was corrupted so I started a new project and imported the footage. Same deal. I’m able to play the footage on the timeline with no problem so for now I’ve been scrubbing on the timeline itself but that’s a pain and there’s still a problem. Any ideas?

  I’m using a Mac Pro, FCP7 and footage is located on a central server. None of the other workstations are having this problem.
