Rendering Crashes on Multiple BCC 7 Effects on Vegas 10
I am using Sony Vegas 10.0c and have had no problems rendering with normal footage without an BCC effects. After I started using BCC effects, I have endured day after day of crashes trying to figure out exactly WHAT the problem is. I have reduced the number of tracks from several down to just two with only one BCC effect and I still end up with crashes.
I have contacted Sony Vegas and have got no response (two days ago, in fact).
The real problem is that the error message is “An error occurred while creating the media file ANYNAME. The reason for the error could not be determined.”
I have tried to pre-render and sometimes have lost the files that were set up for pre-render and hoped it would really help, but it took so much longer to render that I decided to instead strip down the number of BCC effects.
I’m only trying to render a 10-minute piece of video.
I have tried many different file formats and have found that all of them end up the same way while some crash immediately and others crash during render after several hours of editing.
Is there some kind of guide or checklist of things I can do to prevent these kinds of generic crashes?
Would Boris help me with this?
