Whenever I try and render a colour change in any clip longer than about five seconds Media 100 locks out about half way through the render process. In order to get a longer clip rendered I have to split the clip into five second sections. Has anyone else had this problem? I am hoping that 11.5 will cure this along with othe render bugs which produce the ‘render required’ box every now and again.

    Michael,
which OS/QuickTime/Media 100 HD version are you using, and which kind of material and codec? I have never seen that happening on any Media 100 HD version, and when testing that on V11 it worked without the problems you describe.

Floh I am on a Mac G5 Dual. OS 10.43, QT 7.03 and Media 100 10.1.3. I am working with 8bit uncompressed HD acquired through the Convergent Design HD-Connect LE box from original HDV shot on the Sony Z1. I am hoping to go up to version 11.5 as soon as I can so hopefully a number of problems will go away but this one is a pain for colour correcting.
