    Hello,

I am just about to finish a video I edited in AE. But when I render I just get a black video and I don’t know what the problem is.

    my CompSettings are 1280×720, D1/Dv NTSC (0.91).

I would like to have a Quicktime video. I tried out Animation, H.264, Photo Jpeg but none of them works.

Any suggestions how to solve the problem?
    I would appreciate any reply.

    Thank you.

I just tried out export instead of rendering and surprisingly it worked.
But it would be interesting to know why the rendering doesn’t work.

That’s impossible to answer without knowing more about your export settings. Can you provide more info?

Sorry, this is not an answer to your problem, but I’m just curious:

What do you use such format for?
