Rendering before Export
do you HAVE to let the footage render before exporting? i have a 3 hour HD movie that is gonna take hours to render and i was wondering if i HAVE to wait on that before i export

Well, the export will take that much longer if you don’t. Often times LONGER if you don’t. So it won’t save you time NOT to. And if you do, now it is rendered and you can play it back anytime you want.
