  • rendering audio transitions…

    Hi guys, just a quickie…

I know After effects is pretty lame with mixing audio, but when i do a simple audio cross dissolve between two tracks, it always renders out funny.

I keyframe a cross dissolve between two audio tracks and the RAM preview sounds great. But when i render out the comp the audio dips to 0 before coming back up again.
The best way i can describe this is that if it sounds like it dips to 0 (-48db) during the transition.

The render settings for audio are pretty simple, Am i missing something?

I know i could mix it elsewhere, but its a really simple little cross fade that should sound smooth-like the RAM preview does, am i doing something wrong?

    Thanks for your thoughts…

    Andrew.

precompose the transition, so your output comp sees only one audio layer, it should come out the way your hearing inside AE.
