Rendering: Audio Out of Sync
Posted by Cdmanproductions on January 3, 2006 at 9:59 pmwhen i render a video the audio gets out of sync, it will be in sync in the preview window the whole way through, but after its been rendered it will usually be in sync for about 60% of the video then it will be just slightly out of sync for the rest of the video. it just starting doing this, i havnt messed with any of the settings or anything. im rendering in svcd not sure if that will have anything to do with it. any help will be greatly apreciated, thanks

January 5, 2006 at 3:44 amwell im actually using an ati all in wonder 7500 capture card, its worked fine before and if i use a video or something ripped off a dvd its fine, its just with files that are captured with the card. adobe premier pro 1.5 works fine, its just vegas 6.0 that im having an issue with. its so weird that its happening. the file when played manualy using media player or something its perfectly in sync the whole way, also when i view it in the preview window in vegas its totally fine. its just after its been rendered. thanks

January 5, 2006 at 2:29 pmI still submit you’re using the wrong hardware for the job if you want to simply do the job rather than dealwith problems. Quit messing with trying to get the AIW card to work. Instead, connect a convertor (like a Canopus ADVC-110 – if you have miniDV camera, that might work as well) to the computer via firewire. Connect your external device to the convertor. Then you can capture in Vegas via firewire to a standard DV-AVI file. You’ll have MUCH fewer problems using DV-AVI files and have better quality than you will using MPG files from the AIW.
