Rendering Audio At A Slower Playback Speed
I use vegas as my primary audio editor. My music is based on slowing down sound sources. I often have playback running at 0.75 speed. How can render the audio like this? I’ve tried many times with no success. Is it even possible?

There are several ways to do this. One way is to right-click on your audio event on the time line and select PROPERTIES. There you will find a lot of options to play with speed, pitch etc.

I normally run the signal through outboard gear to achieve pitch etc.
In vegas, it’s that little playback speed arrow that slides left and right. My question was, can the track be rendered with that arrow at 0.75? When I do attempt it, the track does render, but just at regular speed..

If you are talking about the small movable red arrow at the left bottom of the Vegas screen, No, thats only for previewing. To render the reduced speed, change the properties in the properties tab as I mentioned before or drag the audio event longer while you press Ctrl
