Rendering and Kona 3
I have footage in my timeline that is 10Bit RGB LOG. When I add effects in FCP (simple transitions like dip to color) and render, am I rendering in 8bit? Does the Kona card force FCP to render in 10Bit RGB?
I am running 6.0.5

The Kona does nothing in this case. IF your timeline is 10-bit, and your footage is 10-bit, then you render 10-bit.

I was under the impression that FCP could not render 10bit effects. Thanks for clearing that up!
