hi i am trying to render some comps to quicktime
but when im done and there rendred and i try to play them back as rendered quicktime movies there is a lot of stuttering and
they dont play out. So im wondering what is the best compression format to use when rendering
something so that it plays smoothly in quicktime.
    thanks

If you just want to watch something on a hard drive, and don’t want to send it to another application for further processing, try Photo-JPEG at aqround 89%, or render to the Animation codec then use Quicktime Pro to export to H.264.

    Anybody else?

What is the purpose of the files you are rendering?
Are they test footage to see how your work is turning out, samples for a client, final files you intend to cut to DVD, files for the internet, etc.?
