  • Rendering an Entire Comp as Photoshop Layers

I have a composition made up of four layers that I need to render out as photoshop layers.

Essentially the same process as rendering a frame as photoshop layers but for an entire comp. It seems like that should be doable and it seems like I may even have done it in the past but the process for doing it is escaping me.

Is there a way to do this from within after effects? Or is the answer to try to render each layer individually and try to run some kind of script in photoshop to merge them? Any insight here would be helpful, since I am scratching my head here.

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, but I need to be able to do that for the entire length of the comp. 30 plus frames. In the future I’d rather not have to go frame by frame saving each one out as a photoshop frame manually. Just wondering if there was an easier way than that.
