  • Rendering 48khz audio?

Okay, my capture settings for audio are 48khz and my sequence settings are for 48khz. Everytime I capture audio (or video+audio) and put the file in the timeline, I’m forced to render out the audio. Why is this? I’m positive everything is set for 48khz. Tried trashing preferences but still the same thing. I’ve upgraded to Final Cut 5, but had this issue in 4.5 as well.

Everything is set (capture and sequence) for 16 bit 48khz audio.

Can anyone help? I can’t figure this one out.
