April 2, 2014 at 3:51 pmWill the difference in frame rate cause issues? I like some 24p and 780 for slow mo in post. Any answers?

April 2, 2014 at 4:15 pmBy 24p do you mean 24 frames per second?
By 720p do you mean 1280×720 resolution?
Is all your footage 720 resolution or just “half”?

April 2, 2014 at 6:33 pmSetting your project as 1080 or 720 and letting Vegas resize the other footage is pretty simple and as long as you set the render setting to best then the resize interpolation will be the highest quality.
You say your 720p60 footage is for slowmo. How slow have you gone. If your project is set to 24p (probably 23.976) then slowing the 60p footage down to .4 actually gives a perfect slowmo in a 24p project. Any slowmo down to .4 is about ideal since the 60p has enough extra frames for Vegas to use. You can go slower but the results will not be as ideal. Typically you want to disable resampling for frame rate changes since the Vegas resampler is not very good.
In some sense it sounds like your project should be 1080, 24/23.976 which is your normal speed footage.
Also if you want to use the 60p footage at normal speed, in a 24p project, you probably still want to disable resampling.
