  • Rendered video differs from what is in the project, framewise

So I have this basic text animator which gradually reveals the text using Range Selector for Opacity property. There is a moment at which in just ONE frame the Start value of the Range Selector skips from 10 to 20 revealing 10 additional characters.

And it works JUST FINE in the project when I check it frame by frame or run a preview. BUT when rendered, that revelation of 10 characters takes not one but TWO frames: 9 chars are revealed in the first frame and the 10th char left is revealed in the next frame.

Actually, I have several similar moments and all of them misbehave the same way: instead of revealing N chars at certain point, the rendered video reveals just N-1 at that point and the Nth char in the next frame.

    Any ideas why?
    Thanks.

P.S. not sure what technical info is relevant here but the comp is 29,97 which is matched by the Render Settings.
