Rendered to Mpeg and Wav
Every once in a while it seems I have to start over and relearn every thing. Last week I created an hour and ten minute DVD editing down four hours of digital tape. But this week I cannot even get to first base with a seven minute production.
I finished editing a seven minute promo video with voice over, sound background brought in from Pinnacle, a few transitions, title block and a “contact us if interested” page.
I hit the make movie button and after rendering for 30 minutes, I get a button that asks if I want to proceed to DVD Architect to create the DVD. I have no menus or chapter markers. But this is where I get goofed up. I ultimately have to open a new file, and select “single movie”
I cannot seem to repeat the steps to get my created DVD
My files are in .mpg and .wav. I have no idea how to select the combination of both of those files. And I cannot even remember having to make any choices about that previously.Any clues? Anyone?

If you render the file and send to DVD Architect it should open in DVD Architect automatically. First thing then is to save the Dar file. Tne menu displayed will have a single button in the middle which is your movie. Retitle this to Play Movie and you are away, I think. You can also delete the word Menu from the menu page leaving just your play movie button.

I will try that Alex, thanks. Save as dar. That’s the key I think. It is always so simple after I am shown how. So the dar holds the combination of wav and mpeg. Right?

All files saved automatically in DVD Architect are DAR files.
