    Hi all:

I have worked almost exclusively with mpeg, and I know pretty much exactly how large a rendered file will be based on the settings I choose. But now I have a client who wants his stuff delivered in WMV, VCD and QuickTime formats, on CDs, as well as a normal DVD.

I know I could render a minute at each quality setting, for each format, and end up with a table that would let me predict files sizes. But I basically lazy so I was wondering, since this has surely been done before, if anyone knows where I might lay hands on a table outlining this sort of stuff?

My ultimate goal, I guess, is given a standard CD and a known program duration, what setting should I make to get max quality/size out of the render and still fit on a CD.

Thanks again, for this and the MANY other answers I’ve gotten here and the Sony site.
