Rendered audio going WAY out of sync
I’m having a problem with a 10 minute piece am trying to edit while in Sony Vegas Pro version 10. In the editing environment, it’s in perfect sync. But when I render it, video-audio is significantly out of sync, like to the tune of five seconds off!
Based on a much older thread and suggestion, I tried lowering the sample rate to 32,000. That had no effect whatsoever. Same sync issue.
So far, the ONLY thing that has brought the rendered results in sync is grabbing just a small looped region – like 30 seconds – instead of the whole 10 minute piece. Suddenly, with this smaller piece, it was in perfect video-audio sync after rendering. Unfortunately, I need a 10 minute piece! But I have a feeling this is telling. Any thoughts on what the problem or solution is? Thx!
