    What is the best format for “render to track” if I am trying to lighten a effects heavy project, So that when I render the final project there is the least loss of quality?

    Vegas 10 64bit & Vegas 11 64Bit & Vegas 12 & Adobe Production Premium CS5.5.2 & Avid Media Composer 5.5

    Camera
    Sony EX1 shoot in 1920×1080 30P

    Any uncompressed format would work. I use AVI here. No particular reason, I just trust the codec.

    If you just want to make an event brighter, you could just make a copy of the track and set the compositing mode to screen.
