July 6, 2007 at 7:38 pmAre you editing 70mm film??? Just kidding!!!
Trashing your prefs and open the Render Manager and delete all renders, then render everything again. That might do the job for ya.

July 6, 2007 at 10:14 pmI just did a test with HDV rendering a 30-frame dissolve. The first one too exactly 30-seconds on my dual proc 2.3ghz G5. The second one 15-seconds.
Are you certain your Easy Setup actually applied to your sequence? Opena new seq. and change the sequence settings before puting any video on the timeline. Now copy everytihng from your other timeline to the new one and check if the rendering times are different.

July 8, 2007 at 1:48 pmSo i did as you said and pasted the sequence into a new timeline… the footage looked fine but the still images that i’m using were stretched vertically – then i realized that the stills are the problem – when i put text over them and scale them the render times are horrendous – on the footage the render times are fine… so i guess these images are not the right size and that is the problem. Is there anything i can do or do i just have to suffer through it??
