Render times in 1080
Needing to do a simple model in Invig and using Reflector, in a 1080 comp. Its about 11 seconds finished and rendering out lossless with an alpha. I have an 8 core box with 9G ram and I am showing render times of about 4 hours in both CS3 and CS4. Also finding that multiprocessing hangs in CS3 and reports incompatible in CS4. Is this about the performance to expect at this comp size?

Hi Jim,
This may have to do with the size of the floor you are using. If your floor is much larger than it needs to be, you can try shrinking the floor to the minimal size that it can be.
Right, multiprocessing and the use of Nucleo Pro may cause the rendering to crash.
