February 15, 2007 at 10:08 amYou could just use 3D layers but not put a camera in there?

February 15, 2007 at 7:23 pmDeleting the camera will default to the front view, yes.
However, you cannot move it around like you can a camera.
The better solution is to learn how cameras work.bogiesan
This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

February 15, 2007 at 7:44 pmActually deleting the Camera doesn’t default to the front view, it’s still a camera view. Notice the ability to push things off into the distance. The real front view is orthographic and there is no perspective; think blueprint.
I’ve heard ideas before about making the camera really far away and zooming in but I have never tried it to achieve this effect.

February 16, 2007 at 5:52 amcreate a new camera. set the zoom value to something like 10,000, it will default to basically the same view you get with the front view. Then you’re set.
or… just use 2D only.
