render template for 1280x720p 60fps avhcd video

May 25, 2014 at 11:22 pmIf you want to make a regular DVD (i.e. not a Blu ray), the only render template you can use is MPEG-2 for your video and either AC-2 or WAV for your audio.

DVD’s only support 29.970 fps, 25.000 fps, & 23.976 fps (24p). You have no choice but to render 29.970 fps to be compliant.
You’re also going to have to disable resample on all of your events that contain 59.40 fps footage so that Vegas Pro doesn’t blend the frames. Select all of them on the timeline, right-click one of them and choose Switches | Disable Resample.
