Render Stops on Display Sleep

April 28, 2020 at 12:53 amAdobe Encode rendering pauses when the display goes to sleep. Not system sleep (that is set to never) but “Display Sleep.” When I wake up the display, Encode acts like nothing happened, except there has clearly been no progress since the last display sleep. A little math makes it obvious that time stopped when the display went to sleep.
This has been happening for a while and on more than one different system, both AMX and nVidia cards, and I can see from forums that I am not alone, but no answers. It’s been happening since last April, and it seems to affect the AE render queue as well. Oddly, I don’t think it always happens, but don’t have enough evidence to conclude that.
Any other info out there? I
Cheers,
