    Hey guys!

Okay, I must be doing something wrong here.

    Comp’ settings: 640 X 480, Square Pixels.

I render in Edit > Make Movie by choosing Quicktime, Millions of colors + and there I render. When I look at my videos in Quicktime, it lags a little, like it stops and it takes a little time to continue (the problem isn’t Quicktime, I think it’s the length of the video). Why? Is 640 X 480 too big?

I think that’s the problem. When I open my videos in Quicktime, Quicktime’s window takes a lot of place on my screen, and it’s so not necessary.

Want I want: A video with an excellent quality with a normal size.

Want I have: A video with an excellent quality with a big size.

I know there isn’t a big size and a small size depending on what I want but I just wanted to know how you guys render and what settings (comp or rendering) you use.

Turns out a video of 25 seconds is almost 300 Mo.

So I was wondering if you could give me any tips? I like videos with an excellent quality but I don’t think I need a video that big. It’s not for a client or anything, it’s for myself.

    Thx guys!

    Really appreciate it.

In your all your information above, there’s one parameter setting applied to the final rendered video that you’re not telling us. And it is probably the setting that you should change.

Hint: it’s in the output module.
