I have about 200 compositions. I’d like to render one frame of each comp at 4 seconds (for proofing). Here’s what I’ve done so far: I made a preset for the ‘output module’ to give me a JPEG with the proper settings. Then I made a preset for the ‘render settings’, but AE doesn’t let me set a custom ‘time span’ for the preset. I guess cause if it’s set to–say 12 seconds–and you try to render a comp that’s only 10 seconds long with that preset, it won’t work.

Is there a simple way around this? (rendering one frame from multiple compositions all at the same point in time?)

    Thanks,

I’m aware of that. But all the comps have their work areas already defined, and I’m trying to avoid going into each comp and setting that up. I would like to automate it.

    Thanks anyway
