In the Cinema 4D Lite for After Effects CC 2015, I go to the render settings and when I go to the save tab I don’t see the option for where to render it to and the codec for the file. Help?

Maybe because you should render out of AE and not cinema 4d.
Maybe they didn’t add the output modules. I’m not sure, never tried. Just guessing.

This is correct. C4D LITE is intended to render through Ae via CINEWARE. It is not intended to render to files itself.

You can of course render out of any of the full versions of C4D.

[Paul Fisherman] “So how do I render out my object as a .png?”

Build it in C4D LITE, put the C4D file into Ae as a CINEWARE layer, then render to PNG from Ae.
