render settings

Hi… i would like to know the best render settings to upload to youtube using vegas pro 12.. I record with a hauppage hd pvr 2.
I think it records an mp4.. ive tried some settings but find the results choppy on play back. also the audio is tinny.
It takes on avg 45min to render an 6min video.

I like to use MainConcept AVC/AAC with the Internet 720p template for YouTube.

How about project setting.Is it need to change 720p for youtube because my footage is 1920x1080p.

No, because the aspect ratio is the same. 1920×1080 is 16:9 and 1280×720 is 16:9 so there really is no need to change a 1080 project to 720 to deliver in 720. You will never be surprised because the 16:9 aspect ratio will be maintained throughout. It is more important to get your frame rates to match.
