render resulting in black screen
I’m trying to render a video clip directly from the timeline in Vegas 8.0, and everytime I do, I lose the last several minutes of video. The audio is still there, and the length of the clip is correct, but all I see is black. I’ve done this a couple of times now and gotten the same result, except that the length of time I lose my visual varies with every render. Could this be the result of using a laptop?

A laptop is a computer is a computer and is not the problem. Is this one single clip or are there multiple clips on the time line? Are they from different sources, are the clips all on the same track? What filters do you have applied, any key framing?
