You could import all your projects into one aep file and set up the renders from there. When you import an aep in to a new project all assets come with it.

thanks that’s what i was thinking ..
its alittle scary tho as each project is a duplicate of the one before with diff footage and texts in somewhat complcated manner…
the room for confusion will keep on growing.. argh

Imported projects have no link to the original. So altering the original project will have no effect on the projects that have been imported.

I, personally, would prefer to have all 14 of your comps located within 1 MASTER comp.

This way, you wouldn’t need to constantly close one project to open another project. All 14 could be open at the same time!

These kind of projects can really tax our organizational skills. One of the greatest (fairly) unspoken killer-tips in AE is to keep your projects in a very consitant, organized fashion.

i’m with ya and already know the tutorial…
problem was i inherited the work and was brought in as a freelancer.
the producer was not happy with bringing in everthing into one comp.
the project is getting very big and he felt it was easier to keep under control
keeping everything separate..
anyway .. in the end we managed to procure several machines and rendered out each comp/project
onto the server….
