  • Render Queue stopped working in Encoder CS6

For almost a year now, I’ve been Exporting edits in CS6 by selecting the Media option and opening Media Encoder, finding my Export Settings, then hitting the Queue option to export. Usually the Queue window opens with my sequence(s) in it and I hit the green arrow and Media Encoder goes to work. Tonight, however, every time I hit the Queue button, the Queue window opens up, empty, and I get a “not encoding” message. Now I’m using the “Export” button and hopefully everything will turn out OK, but I’ve avoided this option because it used to crash the software in CS5.5.
Besides I prefer the Queue option because I often export several sequence in one go. Has anyone else experienced this problem and come up with a solution? I want my Queue back.
    Thanks.

Oops. False alarm. I inadvertently closed the Queue Window when I sent the Export to Queue. That’s why it went missing. Sorry, people. I lose my bearings after 11.
