Render quality
Hey everbody
I have a question about rendering with media encoder. I wasn’t able yet to pick out the answer from the net and all the forums, so i’ll take my chance here.
I’m using a d800 Nikon camera with footage 1080p – 30 fps. Im editing it on premiere or after effects. So after all editing i’d like to comrpess it for sure. But I’m just not able to figure out which is the best render format. In other forums, they say, that there isn’t and it always depends on what you want to do.
So i’ll try to explain.
I’d like a compressed file, which i’ll be able to play on my computer (4gb ram – 2,3 Hz, Full HD, 2008 – VLC player) and on my Samsung TV (200 Hz, Full hd, 2011)
Which format will achieve the best quality? I tried it with h.268 but I’m not very happy with the result at all. The black parts for example seem very grey.Hope you understand my problem and you can maybe help me.
Cheers
Frank
