Recently traded a 2001 Xpress Meridian for a Symphony Nitris and noticed that the Nitris no longer gives me a way to see my render progress on the monitor output-a handy feature if you spot a mistake in the middle of a long render. Am I missing something here?

Nope… you’re not missing anything… well, other than that nifty feature.

I’ve been told that it was possible because Meridiens were hardware “boardset” based, where as the Nitris isn’t(?)

I enjoyed it as well and is one of the main things I miss from Meridien.

press T while rendering and it’ll give ya the estimated render time based on the frame it is on at that time.

i thought Nitris was intensely hardware based which is what makes it so fast and RT capable? I mean the breakout box weighs like 50 lbs.
