    Hi guys,

    i’ve got a problem. I’m makin a basketball-mix with HD Clips : 1900×1200.
My render settings are the following :

    Codec : WMV
    Rendering quality : Best
    Audio mode : CBR
Audio format : Windows Media Audio 9.2
Audio Attributes : 128 kbps, 44 kHz, Stereo (A/V) CBR
    Video mode : CBR
Video Format : Windows Media Video 9
Image size : High Def. (1440×1080)
    Pixel aspect Ratio : 1,333 (HD 1080)
    Framrate : 25,000 (PAL)
    Second per keyframe : 5
    Video smoothness : 100 (Sharpest)
    Bitrate : Internet/LAN – 8 M
    Length : 04:34

When i start rendering it all goes well. But when it comes to around the 6 % mark, the preview box goes dark and it does’nt go over the 6% mark.

    Can anyone please help?!

    Many thanks

I am having a similar problem with Vegas Pro 9. I am using Visat Ultimate, 6 gig of ram, an AMD 9850 quad core, and a video card with 1 gig of ram, all being used on an Asus board. It renders some videos fine, but with some, it just freezes seconds into the rendring process.
I just rendered a one hour video (not HD) with special effects, several video tracks, several audio tracks with no problem.
I now have a 10 minute video with three video tracks, one sound track, and consists of only photos, and it sits there stupid and frozen.
I let it sit for an hour, and nothing. I have to use task manager to free it up.
