Render once for Bluray and DVD?
I rendered an m2t file in SVP using the HDV 1080 template which I then imported into DVDA and created a bluray project, saved it, then changed the DVDA properties to DVD5, and saved that. When I previewed the DVD version, one of the cameras in the edit had a slight combing effect. The Bluray version is fine.
When I then rendered out from SVP using the usual DVDA PAL template from Vegas, the combing disappeared.
What is the recommended workflow in Vegas for projects that require both Bluray and DVD output in DVDA? Do I have to render out to the recommended SVP templates separately and then create each DVDA project separately as well? I would love to learn if it is possible to kill 2 birds with 1 stone 🙂
