I’ve been using the techniques from the projection tutorial from videocopilot. The ram preview looks amazing but when I go to render it looks like either the light and projection layer Or my white solids Or both become offset and the projection doesn’t match the layers.

I have searched the archive didn’t come up with much. I have checked to make sure all my effects are in use and deleted the ones that weren’t. I’m currently just exporting instead of using the render queue because people have reported that with render errors this usually works. Still, I shouldn’t have to do that.

What would cause something like this and better yet how do I fix it?

Did you set your Shadow Map as per the recipe?

Your going to have to be more specific. It looks magnificent in the ram preview so I know I did everything right. Fortunately the export did work but I still need to fix this.

    Hi Tyler

In cases where renders do not match RAM Previes, it is almost always a case of render settings. You may want to to post your AEP here or provide us with all of the Output and Render settings. You could also do a screen capture of the settings and a frame of te RAM Preview and one of the rendered movie.

    Cheers
