Is there anyway to render a MPEG1 with After Effects render queue on the Mac? I don’t wanna compress it with another app, I would like to render a mpeg1 directly. Is there any codec to buy?

    Thanks for any help

PremierePro may be able to do it. You’ll get better quality with a 3rd party solution that provides pre-processing of the clip to optimize the compression results.

    Try Streamclip – https://www.squared5.com/

We are not that lucky. Premiere on mac can’t export mpg1.
The only way I found to make mpg1 on mac is to use apple’s compressor.
There are ways of changing default settings to do it really good. It requires changing a few files, but it works fine.
