    Hi
    Resolve 9.1
I have set up a Render job with the following flags
    Render Job To %L/%V/
    Use custom filename prefix %L_

Now what I expect to happen is my clips are rendered as DPX with a filename structure as per

    Filename/Version/Filename_0000001.dpx

which is perfect for the Phantom Cine files example filename AJ5a1F63

    I get
    AJ5a1F63/Version1/AJ5a1F63_0000001.dpx
    All good so far
but the Alexa clips in the same job don’t work example filename A001C002_130113_R2V9
    the result is
    Version1/_000000.dpx

it’s as if the Alexa filename doesn;t exist at all.

Any ideas as to why this is happening or how to get around it?

    thanks

    Toby

%L is actually the reel name as set in the Project Settings. This is an error in the documentation, and we will fix it.

To fix your Alexa project, just enable the “Assist using reel numbers”, and set it to the last option which is the filename. This will give you what you are looking for.

    Regards,
    Rohit
