render issues
Hi there! I have a one gig file that was sent in sections. I’m trying to edit it all together into one piece.
I imported all five files and am trying to edit. But they need to be rendered.
I did the first two but the three other pieces can’y be rendered for some reason.
I hit the render all and it does about 75 per cent and then just stops. The progress bar disappears and the time line bar remains red.
Is this a cache issue? Or something else?
I have a dual processor G5 running 10.4.5
FC hd vers. 4.5

Hi
There are two sides to this, firstly why are you having to render? Are you sure you should be rendering, or should you be using these files in a different type of project? With regards to the render, firstly check the HD you are trying to export to, is there enough space? Secondly are you exceeding the 2gb file limit option? Thirdly try rendering it in sections to see if this helps?
