  • Render issue with old timeline

I have a timeline that was done 4 years ago in 2.0. It opended up in 5.0 no problem. The timeline is rendered still frame’s in a 16 x 9 format. I rendered the timeline but am having a playback issue. The stills are playing back in a preview mode, the dissolves and titles are rendering but not the stills. The top of the timeline is giving me the green bar so I know it’s in preview mode. I know I am missing something, how do I get the full timeline to render, stills included.

first off, set your Render Options to High Quality, default is Normal.

Then go into your Render Settings and ensure that you have the Preview (green) line selected as something to force render.

Finally, check your Timeline settings and ensure you’re set for high quality playback.

The first thing I do with a system is make sure that everything is checked. It’s a good feature and all that you can choose what level gets rendered, but it should default to all checked.
