  • Render issue with material captured from the Blackmagic Video Recorder

    (Macbook Pro 2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo/4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM / MacOSX 10.5.8)

After loading a clip with the Blackmagicdesign H.264 video recorder set to: Composite/Full Res/Quality 3.5 MBs.

I tried to import them into Final Cut Pro (v. 6.0.5)

My problem begins from this point:

Whatever option/Codec I choose will result in very long rendering time.
Even the request of FCP to change the sequence setting doesn’t help. If changed this will also result in having to render the entire sequence.

I’m aware that the original codec from the Video Recorder is mp4 but changing the sequence to match this codec doesn’t help either.

Suggestions, solutions or tips are very welcome!

    Kind regards,
