Activity Forums VEGAS Pro render for dvd architect

    hello all. I know I have seen this before but can not find it…I have a two hour video I need to render to put on a DVD using architect. If I render now it is 3.5 gigs. architect shows it as 154%. thanks for any help

    Just ignore it if you know you are below the limit of the disc you are using. DVDA is not the greatest at estimating the amount of space a file is going to take up.

    If you do find that your project is bigger than you thought and exceeds the disc quota, you can change the bitrate to a lower number to make it fit (but this lowers quality). If it is just a little bit over, you may want to shorten your menu but you should leave some room on the disc.

    You can use a bitrate calculator to see what bitrate you should be using. (Google it)
