  • render files in the trash…

Posted by Tonyhasmith on March 12, 2007 at 8:57 pm

… i’ve recently noticed a large number of render files in my trash and i’ve been puzzling over weather or not to delete them. can anyone help me on weather or not these files are at all necessary or are they just old renders that FCP has tossed in the trash automatically.

    thanks for any help

Are you sure they are render files? If they have a date and time stamp after the name they are old AUTOSAVE files. And yes, you can toss them, as they are replaced with newer versions all the time.
