    HI, IM NEW TO THE FORUM SO, HELLO!

    FIRST OF ALL IM A MAC USER.
    IM HAVING TROUBLE RENDERING AN ANIMATION I AM WORKING ON USING IMPORTED PHOTOSHOP DOCUMENTS AS COMPOSITIONS.
    I HAVE DONE 3 OR 4 SUCCESFUL PRE-RENDERS AND HAD NO TROUBLE IN THE PAST WITH OTHER WORK, HOWEVER I TRIED TO RENDER THE WORK AGAIN AND GET THIS ERROR MESSAGE

    After Effects error: could not open this file because it is not a valid Photoshop document.

    Is it a CMYK file?

    Ive sorted it now, but thanks for the reply
    It was actually because i was editing the original layer in Photoshop, so the file was still open and hadnt been saved. After Effects couldnt find a link to the file because of that.
