    ok, im stuck. when i try to render the files in my project, i get the message: “Render Error: Insuffiecient Disk Space. Free up space with Render Manager and retry.” well there are no files in my render manager. i have 2 GB free on my hard drive and 100 GB free on my external HD. what is the problem???

    Make sure you have the correct scratch disk selected in your system settings.

    You mighte be asking FCP to render to a place that is actually full.

    dave, i adjusted the scratch disk settings to my external HD. so far so good. thank you for you help!
